Professor Michael Gajhede
Biostructural Research
University of Copenhagen
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Universitetsparken 2
2100 Copenhagen, Denmark
Basic research focuses on studies of
three-dimensional structures and
structure-function relationships of proteins,
protein-ligand complexes and protein-protein
complexes at the atomic level. The ultimate
goal of the work is to use this information in the
design of new drugs acting specifically on
individual receptor types, enzymes or genetic
material.
